It consists of the Fishermen's Cottage, sympathetically converted from old farm buildings, and the all new unique Copper Lodge, built on stilts by craftsmen from trees blown down when Storm Eunice passed through in 2023. This is truly a 'one of a kind' place to be enjoyed by families and friends holidaying in this lovely part of north Devon. And if you fancy getting the family away together for Christmas, Chawleigh Week Mill is the perfect choice for a festive getaway. Fishermen's Cottage has a welcoming farmhouse kitchen, fully equipped with a year round Aga. With a large dining table in the lounge for more formal meals, all guests can be seated together for a special occasion. The sitting room has comfortable sofas and an inglenook fireplace with a wood burner for cosy nights in. Copper Lodge is a set of hand built lodges, featuring a full height blown tree as a focal point and a spectacular chandelier made from the root ball of the same tree. A kitchen with Smeg appliances, a dining table for 6 and a very comfortable sitting room guarantee a great stay. Copper Lodge has an outside deck accessed from the bedrooms and overlooking the river for morning coffee, evening drinks or al fresco dining with a view. There's also a wood fired hot tub on the deck. Fishermen's Cottage has a terrace overlooking the cottage garden and the meadow, also with use of a wood fired hot tub.
